The Dream That Wouldn’t Die
What is the dream or life vision you’ve been carrying in your heart over the past 14 years? The dream you took action toward, learned new skill sets for, used to challenge the belief systems that had you stuck, and opened you up to new ideas that pulled you from your comfort zone? You may have tried to bring the dream alive through participating in ceremonies, working with entheogens, developing healing practices like meditation or reiki, learning channeling skills through astrology or journeying, or studying with trusted spiritual guides and mentors, but nothing seemed to unfold. You may have met other people on the journey, who shared a similar vision, but a lack of commitment and unclear steps forward kept staggering progress. There was magic and synchronicity, and events that lined up effortlessly, yet, things always seemed to fall through your hands like sand. Even if things were not completely clear and it seemed as though the path was always disappearing underneath your feet, the spark was still deep within you – and still is.
Things may have seemed impossible to achieve throughout this time, but you still had unwavering optimism that your dream would come to life. Despite doubts–whether from you or from others – you continued to bring this vision and uncharted path before you.
There’s a reason why your dream stayed alive, and that is what will help bridge you to your next life destination while helping humanity and the planet – even if you don’t know what or where it is yet. This is the story of Neptune in Pisces, a transit that began on April 4, 2011, and has now moved into Aries as of January 25, 2026.
For the last 2 ½ years, however, Saturn has asked you what part of that dream you could commit to realistically, and what you needed to let go of so that you could be focused and follow-through on your commitment. Now, Saturn’s move from Pisces into Aries on February 12, 2026, asks: what action steps are you ready to take on these specific dreams in order for you to truly live them?
Walking Through the Pisces/Aries Threshold
The threshold between Pisces and Aries is one of great potency. Pisces – the sign at the end of the zodiac – is where we dream. It is where much care needs to be taken, for our dream seeds must be nurtured before they can sprout in the realm of Aries. Aries – the sign at the beginning of the zodiac, marking the start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere – is where we take action on those dreams. As you can imagine, not everything makes it from one side to the other.
The Great Reset: Saturn and Neptune at 0 Aries
As Saturn and Neptune come together in Aries at 0 degrees (the very first degree of the Zodiac) on February 20, 2026, it marks a cycle of new beginnings. And as with all new beginnings, it comes with significant endings. During this transit, we will face a great reset — both personally and collectively.
Neptune is the planet of creativity, intuition, dissolution, spirit, and sensitivity. It represents the psyche, fantasy, dreams, imagination, and emotion, often wearing rose-colored glasses. It is everything and nothing all at once, and it has no form. It brings a hazy quality and great lack of clarity to whatever space it inhabits. Saturn, on the other hand, is a planet of structure and boundaries – a planet aiming for mastery through consistent, slow-moving actions that build over time. Saturnian energetics are often those we can count on and from which we garner a sense of safety and reliability through consistent actions.
When these two come together in Aries – a sign ruled by Mars, a fiery, warrior archetype that leads with great assertion, action, and forward momentum – our imagination comes alive. Whether that manifests as our greater visions or our deepest fears, the choice is ours. Here, we are being asked to fully engage with our lives. So, if you checked out in the last 14 years or so when Neptune was in Pisces, Neptune in Aries is now asking you to dream more actively and fully participate in your dream. At the same time, Saturn is asking you to identify what, in reality, you need to do in order to build that dream, brick by brick.
Themes we will experience on both a personal and collective level, especially over the next 2 ½ years, include the dissolution of rituals and traditions we counted on for safety, security, leadership, and mentorship. We’ve already been witnessing this in the collective throughout this past year – the illusion of democracy in the US (and beyond), constitutional and equal rights laws, healthcare, voting rights, political leaders, spiritual guides, and teachers and mentors in creative and wellness arts communities – many of whom were not working in their own highest integrity, and have been exposed for the harm they’ve inflicted on others.
During this transit, our beliefs will be tested, things we thought we once knew will continue to be unraveled, and dark, hidden truths will continue to be uncovered. It may be difficult to know who to trust, what to believe, and what should be done. Now it’s up to all of us collectively to reimagine an existence that benefits the whole, and take action on a new way forward.
The Bridge on Fire: Why We Can’t Go Back
When I envision what this looks like, I see us walking across a foggy bridge that’s on fire behind us, and with every step forward, the planks behind us fall one by one.
In order to move forward across this ‘bridge’, we must do so using our intuition with each step, guided by divine action and the dreams we hold close to our hearts – dreams we are willing to fight for, knowing that when we get to the other side, we will have to do the work to build them into reality. The sobering truth, however, is that we can never go back to the existence we once knew, or the way things once were.
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction therefore, is a critical turning point, marking a time where old systems must fall in order for new systems to fully emerge. It will help illuminate and clarify the things that haven’t been working, and the illusions that have been lifted will help us see which structures must fall so that we can rebuild. To give some context in a collective sense, the last time it happened was 36 years ago in Capricorn (1989) when the Berlin wall literally fell, and great civil unrest against apartheid in South Africa led to the release of Nelson Mandela in 1990, eventually ending apartheid and establishing a democratic government.
One of the realizations we may face as a society now—if we haven’t already faced it within ourselves—is that the systems of oppression (shadow side of Saturn) we’ve been living within were sold to us as “security”. Yet these same systems have held us all back in achieving our dreams and life goals, having sold us out through the myth of rugged individualism, and handing us the illusion that we must do everything on our own. They created a false “divide” among us, taught us to depend on large corporations for our health and in the name of convenience, and they’ve exploited our labor through underpaying us, forcing us to work hard just to live. They’ve tied us into eternal debt — mortgages, credit cards, student loans — keeping us bound to a system that profits from our exhaustion. These same systems have provided marginalized people with “affordable” housing near highly industrialized areas linked to higher rates of disease and mortality, broken treaties with First Nations peoples stripping them of access to clean water on their own lands, and developed a police force that protects property instead of people. Ultimately, they have stripped us of our humanity, hearts, and spirit — all in the name of making themselves more rich and powerful.
The truth is, however, that we are tribal beings. We used to get our needs met within the context of community (Aquarius)—shelter, food, childcare, medicines, gatherings where we co-regulated our nervous systems, celebrations that were inclusive to all, and so much more. We were never meant to do it all alone.
If we can see through this illusion now and truly come together as a people—centering the Earth, prioritizing women’s and children’s safety and sacredness, providing equitable resources and opportunities for everyone, and honoring the relationships we have with ourselves, the Earth, and each other—perhaps we can evolve out of this “false Matrix” reality and into a true system of abundance and security for us all. Will we begin to see how we’ve all been woven into a system that holds every one of us down — and that not one of us is truly free until we all are? Perhaps this is part of the dream worth fighting for.
In truth, these systems have been holding us back from achieving our life goals because they know that if we came together as a people, put our differences aside, and worked toward our dreams collectively, we would be more powerful than them.
Therefore, the way I understand it, this Saturn/Neptune conjunction is marking an age of the in-between, the liminal space between further collapse and building anew ~ a time for creative action from imagination for the highest good of society. And for the next 2 ½ years, while Saturn is in Aries, we will witness more destruction of old systems and the fall of things that weren’t working in the first place. It may look like destruction or chaos, but like a caterpillar in a cocoon, it holds great potential. Aries simply asks us to tap into our will and create the lives we want to live.
Dream a New Dream: The Choice Before Us
It is imperative in these times that we channel the magic of Neptune and collectively dream a new dream – rather than focusing on what we don’t want, ask: what DO we want to see, and what are the ways we can create it? This is where our imagination is key – imagining new ways of existing and taking our power back as a collective, rather than allowing those in perceived “power” to dream our dream for us. Because we are in the realm of Aries, which can be perceived as a “battlefield”, we must “fight” (in our own way) for our right to thrive instead of survive. We must take the reins of our own lives, and take ownership and responsibility for creating ’the change we want to see in the world’ moving forward.
Where This Is Changing You: Aries in Your Chart
If you want to understand how the Saturn/Neptune conjunction is affecting you personally, identify where Aries resides in your chart. You’ve most likely already been feeling the effects of this transit within the past year. Perhaps your public role, family life, values, identity, community, work life, or personal relationships are seemingly falling apart, changing, or completely transforming. Huge changes like this can evoke deep fears within us when the known dissolves, so it’s very important right now to tap into trust and faith – in yourself, in spirit, and especially in your dream seeds. Keeping your channels clear through consistent spiritual practices like meditation or earth-based healing (hiking, gardening, journeying), and staying grounded in your physical body (weight lifting, martial arts, gentle stretching) will keep you rooted in who you are and your connection to this earth. These practices are very important during these times of mass upheaval and transformation, and will help to bring yourself back to your center when overwhelmed. Clarity will eventually make itself known to you — but trying to force it will push it further away.
The War for Your Attention & Why Joy and Community Are Resistance
During this time of dissolution, it’s important to stay keen about the spiritual “war” happening. Regardless of what your spiritual beliefs are (or lack thereof), there’s no doubt been a continuous grasping for our attention, sovereignty, and inner-wisdom from nefarious forces. While there’s a competition from various sources for our energy, vitality, freedoms, minds, and our consciousness, it’s essential that you not give up your personal power or those things you know to be true in your heart. Ways to do this include sharing your gifts with your communities, staying connected to your humanity, spirit, and soul, and questioning EVERYTHING. Keep imagining a new way of life, and developing creative solutions on how to move forward as a society – because if YOU don’t, that space WILL be reimagined by others who aren’t necessarily in alignment with your highest good. Perhaps this is the time to dream into existence societies based on indigenous matriarchal wisdom where we have enough abundance to house and feed everyone through gifting, cooperation, and care. With this transit and the years that follow, especially with the eclipse season in February 2026, we are going to feel the spark of taking action and making everything happen NOW. While work needs to be done, we have to remember that patience is needed – we’re not going to build a new world overnight. Pacing ourselves and taking time for deep breaths in between the work is extremely important. Taking time to laugh and enjoy being with your people and doing things that light up your spirit is also very important during this time. Remember, joy is resistance, but it’s also a source of inspiration, and it must be present while doing the work of building a new society and the areas of your life that this transit is affecting.
What the Eclipses Are Illuminating
I do find it auspicious that this conjunction is happening within the eclipse portal (the time between two eclipses) of the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (February 17, 2026), and the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (March 3, 2026). Eclipse portals always bring unexpected change that reroutes the trajectory of our lives in some way.
With the kick off of Eclipse season happening in Aquarius for the first time in approximately 18 years, this is significant. The coming together of the North Node in Pisces and the conjunction of the Sun and Moon (aka a dark moon) in Aquarius, is what will produce the solar eclipse on February 17th. The North Node represents the head of a dragon often exuding an appetite that cannot be satiated and always wants more. The South Node in Virgo (where the full moon lunar eclipse will happen on March 3rd), represented by a dragon’s tail, is always focused on release. Therefore, if we know Aquarius is about liberation, sovereignty, and people power, the Sun and Moon conjunction to Mars in Aquarius relates to the willpower of the people, and the square to Uranus in Taurus represents shaking free from values that no longer align, then this time is about initiating a greater push from the collective to release ourselves from the societal grip that doesn’t serve us and taking our power back. Your personal chart that houses Aquarius/Leo and Pisces/Virgo, will also reveal some bold, unexpected changes in relation to these themes, as well.
Eclipse Series in Aquarius/Leo in Relation to Saturn in Aries
It’s interesting to note the timing of Saturn’s transit through Aries (May 24, 2025 – September 1, 2025 and especially February 13, 2026 – April 12, 2028) in unison with the Aquarius/Leo eclipse series that begins and ends with a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (February 17, 2026 – January 26, 2028). Aquarius (the people, liberation, innovation) and Leo (leadership, visibility, creativity), are heavily influencing the redistribution of power from the leadership of the past to the people power in the present, uncovering new ways to lead, and inspiring new pathways to redistribute wealth and power throughout the collective.
Saturn (a planet focused on structures, boundaries, and mastery) is the traditional ruler of Aquarius, so regardless of where it travels, (now in Aries), it’s always governing the themes of life that happen in Aquarius. Saturn is in its fall in Aries, meaning it’s not well equipped and doesn’t work well in that sign. Saturn is a slow moving, cold planet moving through a fast, hot sign — which can produce rapid breakdown and disintegration. So while this can be an inspiring, action-filled, and creative time, visioning the future of what “power to the people” can look like while old systems collapse, it can also lead to quick burnout — so pacing yourself is key over the next couple years or so.
A little side note about this big astrology
While astrologers are often asked to predict future situations, especially during big astrology like this, it’s really the quality of conditions combined with understanding relevant historical moments that can be discussed, and not actual events that may happen. So while yes, transits like Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius (all long term transits of which will be happening in unison in 2026) can bring great revolution (or re-evolution as I like to call it), and have been known to in past history, it happens through time – not overnight and not just from one transit.
Eclipses, however, always change storylines. The luminaries (sun and moon) get blocked for short periods of time to illuminate in plain sight what has been hidden. These newly revealed plot pieces become the catalysts for future change. In other words, eclipse season timelines often produce ‘curveballs’ thrown to our lives that cause us to shift the way we operate from that point forward — especially for the six months that follow (to the next eclipse season). Therefore, it is possible to see swift, grander changes happen during this time.
Building Our Dreams and The Choices Before Us
Ultimately, this time period in history is a reset button with unlimited potential for a new way of life to emerge, and for shifting the power back to the people. There’s several questions to ask yourself right now to navigate this momentous time in history:
- What will you choose to do during this time to claim your power?
- What dreams of yours will you bring to life?
- Do you see now how your long term personal dream and/or vision ties into the collective dream?
- What kinds of innovative or outside-the-“norm” insights or community-focused solutions may be surfacing for you right now?
- Are you pondering new societal roles for yourself linked with creative ideas for societal advancement that benefit the people and planet?
The answers may not be clear now – but sit with these questions in your heart and see what shows up for you over the upcoming weeks.
