This post may come a bit late, but better late than never! Finally I’m ready to share, and I hope that it inspires you. Feel free to share with others you make think it will inspire as well.

2016: The Year of Awakening, Death and Expansion.

When I look back on 2016, I see that I was walking on a path with others as we stepped into our own awakening. The veil lifted and I was shown the light. And at times it wasn’t pretty. When I reflected about my intention and theme of the year – authentic connection – I thought the only way to achieve it, not only with others but with myself, was to be honest with the way my life was going.

* What do I want to see happen in my life?
* Am I really living the fullest life I could be?
* Am I receiving all that I want to experience where I live? Where I work? In my community? In my personal relationships? Am I receiving back what I am putting my whole heart into?

I came to understand who I truly am. To appreciate myself, and to see how worthy I truly am. To understand that the work I do to make money, is actually the *work* I need to do in this life.

It was interesting all the teachers who showed up–who just so happened to reflect to me how to show up for myself and others.

Also interesting was the shift in musical interests. Many musicians have started to come to me over the last couple years, but their music has blossomed in my heart to help me understand my own life in different ways.

2016 also brought a LOT of tears, and was a year I understood to FEEL in a healthy way.

2017 – The Year of Re-Creation
The messages I’ve been receiving from many sources from music, astrology, spirit guides, and energetics is this:

* I am ready to step into the role of who I truly am in this life.
* I am embodying my power.
* I am here to do my part to help heal humanity.
* I am here to bring more love and respect to the planet that brings us life.

I really believe there are many of us out there who feel this. We are here to rebuild after the storm. The earth is being “reborn”, and all of us are to help her re-grow into her fullest expression of beauty. When we start to show her love, she will show us love. An interesting “concept”?! Well that’s for sure!

In order to do this, we need to bring our fullest selves–at least those of us who have started embodying our new found consciousness.

Now more than ever, we need to step fully into our power and realize our roles in this life so we can create healing within our humanity, and ultimately our planet. What are you here for, and what is your purpose?

This requires an exploration of our inner landscape to determine not only what it is we want to let go of, but what is holding us back from our own sense of self-worth and empowerment. With grace, courage, persistence, and LOVE, we let go of old baggage so we can RISE within ourselves, our families, personal relationships and in our communities. Then we refill the space we made by connecting, meditating, and ACTING on what we wish to create in our lives, our humanity and our planet.

We must seek the tools that will assist in our personal growth, and learn how these tools will help us create healing, empowerment and the chance to thrive in our communities and beyond! When we do this for ourselves, we inevitably inspire those around us to do the same. THIS is how we heal ourselves, our communities and most importantly, our Pachamama, planet Earth.

Astrologically, there is power to re-create ourselves in 2017, to carry out goals, to realize dreams, to fully embody who we truly are and who we must be on this planet! Let’s tap into this energy, and move full steam ahead to create and restore LOVE, PEACE, ABUNDANCE, and pure JOY in each of our lives!
